The O/S Sailor / Ordinary Seaman performs maintenance and conservation of the vessel’s decks and superstructures and assists with general deck operations. The role supports safe and efficient ship operations, adheres to shipboard safety, environmental, and quality policies, and may work in various locations around the ship. The individual should be ready to take direction from the Bosun and to operate independently when required, while mentoring less experienced crew as appropriate.
