Your Purpose
The proactive and detail-oriented PR, Communications, and Marketing Intern will support our press relations, internal & public communications, and marketing activities, leading the coordination of our monthly activity report to the Board, managing our public email correspondence, and assisting with tasks related to the key responsibilities below.
Your Impact
Reporting & Communications
- Gather monthly updates, data and key metrics from relevant teams and partners, and compile content into reports for the MSC Foundation Board.
- Ensure timely submissions aligned with governance and strategic priorities.
- Manage the Foundation general inbox, dispatch enquiries, and draft responses ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Support the creation of web articles, newsletters, internal communications, email marketing campaigns, and social media content.
Media Relations & Brand
- Monitor and analyse media coverage, preparing monthly and quarterly PR reports and supporting media outreach activities.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and pitch materials.
- Research and maintain media contact lists and support journalist engagement.
- Develop and maintain press kit materials, including backgrounders, fact sheets, executive bios, and media assets.
- Maintain photo and video databases and support the creation of visual and marketing content.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and support onboard marketing communications.
- Contribute to brand campaigns, storytelling initiatives, market research, audience insights, and competitor analysis.
Social Media, CRM & Project Support
- Support social media planning, editorial calendars, content research, community engagement, and trend monitoring.
- Prepare basic CRM and marketing performance reports and dashboards.
- Provide operational and administrative support for events, campaigns, reporting activities, payment requisitions, and other team initiatives.

Your Essentials

- Track and monitor media coverage across online and print channels.
- Support the development of creative assets, visuals, photo and video.
- Assist with the drafting of web articles, stories, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and pitch materials.
- Support the management of the Foundation’s content calendar and contribute to storytelling initiatives.
- Prepare basic performance reports and dashboards on CRM and marketing activities.
- Provide operational support to the team in organizing events and initiatives.
