What You'll Be Working On
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in redesigning and modernizing our booking ecosystem.
You will:
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performing backend services
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Claude Code to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality and security
- Help shape how the team adopts and gets the most out of AI tools in our development workflow
- Build and maintain APIs that support customer-facing products and business-critical integrations
- Contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native architecture on Azure
- Collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, product teams, and DevOps specialists
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement
- Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decision-making
- Mentor and support fellow engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Help improve system reliability, observability, performance, and resilience

What We Are Looking For
You will likely have:
- 5+ years of backend development experience in SaaS or enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in .NET and API development
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in professional development, with a critical eye for reviewing and validating generated code
- Experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices
- Solid understanding of cloud-native development, preferably within Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software architecture patterns
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and passion for engineering excellence

- Experience with agentic coding workflows, such as delegating larger tasks to AI agents and reviewing their output effectively
- Experience establishing practices or guidelines for responsible AI tool use in engineering teams

- Ability to influence technical decisions and lead by example
